Bikes in the Countryside Process
Scenic bike rides, wild flowers, and the countryside inspired this surface design collection. I imagine the designs being used in a variety of applications, from apparel to accessories. Above are a few of my design journal pages for Bikes in the Countryside. Tambour hook embroidery, couching gimp wire and bourdon cord, beading and sequins, and bezeling cabochons make up a few of the techniques I used in this project. If you enjoyed the Bikes in the Countryside process, you can discover my surface design collection here.
